Sen. Roger D. Moe (DFL-Erskine) said that owning a sports team is no different than owning any other business. "From what I can tell, the owners have to see the financial rupture they're facing. They can only lose money for so long and then they have to sell the team. This is a reasonable way to approach the problem -- it is basically a financial issue," said Moe.   Source

Ok, if a sports team is like "any other business", let them finance their own building and allow the "marketplace" to work (just like any other business)!
