Our local metro paper the "Star Tribune" (a.k.a. The Red Star; The Star and Sickle) recently ran an article dealing with tax credits for parents wanting to send their children to private schools.
The article states "Should the state help parents pay for tuition at private and religious schools?"
Instead of misleading people with a question like that, couldn't they have been a little more honest and phrased it like; "Should the state allow tax credits for those families not choosing public schools for their children?"
Keeping in mind; our state (the "Land of 10,000 Taxes") will have a projected $2-4 BILLION surplus. (Just a little over-taxation, wouldn't you say?)
